What if I was a big name director?

And I was doing a film and wanted the actor to be smug like Charlie Sheen or Robert Downey Jr and he would be wearing business suits and the actress was trippy like Reese Witherspoon or Jennifer Jason Leigh wearing tucked in turtlenecks with pushed up sleeves and tight belted blue jeans and if the people did not want to wear those outfits they could work with another director on another film. Would you want to be in the film if you were an actor or actress?
