We Got Into A Fight , Should I Text Him First ?

Well first off im 15. Ive been talking with this kid for about a month (ive known him for a year). We text all day usually. My friends are really immature and texted him and told him that i didnt like him, and i didnt want to "do things" with him. Its really immature, but he hasnt texted me. So should i text him first or wait ? Also what should i say to him ? Thanks !
