Was the Spanish Inquisition just in Spain?

Was it spread throughout the rest of Europe? Or would that be called something else? Is the whole Protestant vs Catholic quarrel under Elizabeth I part of the Inquisition as it involved the persecution of Protestants by Catholics and had strong connections with Spain? Or again, something else?
