Red, hot skin reaction...?

This happens all on it's own, I thought it came on sometimes if I drank, but I can drink on many occasion and nothing happens, then again no drinking at all and flare up, so badly sometimes it's not the hot red flush thing, but I will wake up to a swollen eye reddened so bad like someone punched me, it will go away on it's own in like 2 to 4 days, while I take Claritan, benadryl etc. I have gone to the hospital for it twice because it was so bad...my eye and it changed, from right to left, but most common my left. they checked my into the cardiac unit because of the fear of it going to the brain (because they didn't know the cause_ they kept me in the hosp for 4 days with dermatol, disease skin specialist and bottom line after a million times taking my blood daily, with no answer. They discharged me and said go to a dermatologist,...after having derm. testing me while there, My skin was on fire like burning from the inside and my eye swelled like Tyson socked me. the second visit to the hosp I brought my previous records with all labs and the em doc said allergy to something, he said even though I have never had any allergies before they can suddenly occur, I'm 44. I haven't changed anything in the way of food, drink, laundry product etc. Now it hasn't happened in 2 months and tonite after 2 gles of wine the sudden hot red flush, face, neck stomach forearms, and I drink wine pretty often, how can this just flare up? Yes, tonite I am overwhelmed with stress from something and am wondering, does anyone relate? I took claritan and it's like 45 minutes later and is subsiding. Any clues? Do I just deal with this as an unknown question like the hospital seemed to? anyone with similar exp would be appreciated. Lots of stress today, could it be?????
