Losing my best friend because of a guy?

I started talking to this guy about 2 months ago and about 3 weeks after we started talking my best started talking to him and he started to like her but then stopped. I am totally inlove with guy and he said he really likes me i told my best and now she hates me. What do i do?!?!?!! Please please help
