IM buying a car, but im not sure what i should get?

Here are my choices so far scion tc, volvo s60, maybe a toyota or maybe a honda. my price range is anything below 14,000 and i want something with good fuel economy but my parents want me to have a safe car. whats your opinion or suggestion?
